NOIDA stands for New Okhla
Industrial Development Authority, an extremely modern suburb
district of Uttar Pradesh in India.
NOIDA came into being in 1976 and was designated
as a modern industrial city under the UP Industrial Area
Development Act, 1976.
At this moment, NOIDA or New Okhla Industrial
Development Area is a highly industrialized city, with

business.
NOIDA has become the nucleus for multinational
firms outsourcing information technology services. The
city has appealed so much to large software and BPO companies
in that their offices swathe the urban area. Of these,
most significant are TCS, Interra, CSC, HCL, EXL, Birlasoft
